I just went and test-drove a CO6 and Rubbermaid was contracted to fabricate the dash/mouldings, and the leather for the seats was made from cows that died of mad-cow disease; at least thats the way it looks and smells. YUCK!

I kind of agree with you. You have to keep in mind that the corvette is a track car first and a street car second...and absolutely no where does anyone claim it to be a luxury car.

If you want great interior buy a luxury car...I would say for a car designed as a track car..the interior is top notch. Look at the iper when it came out...it didn't even have a stereo...sit in that once and then hop back in the vette...you will appreciate the interior...especially considering the performance.

To the guy that said your an idiot...you need to grow up...help someone with an answer...don't run them down because their opinion isn't the same as yours.

Just looked at these photo of the interior...

I can't smell the seats. My monitor is not equipped with smell-a-vision. But looking at the photos of the interior of the corvette, I'm not disturbed by them. It seems quite functional and attractive. Nothing earth shattering. Looks pretty much like standard fare to me.

If I had 40,000 or more to spend on a vehicle, I wouldn't buy a Chevrolet. Well, actually that is only partly true. I wouldn't buy a chevrolet no matter how much money I had to spend.

If your attitude for aquired tastes is uncomfortable with brand icons then you have no idea of real concearne. Be brave to define a new level of luxery. Only you can define total satisfaction. Cars have limits , You Do'nt.

I seen the ugliest interior. It was orangish brown leather. The color of diarrhea. I can't stand riding in the car.

the real problem with the Vette is what you get fot the money, they are expensive and interior looks totally plastic and cheap. not to mention their performance, over-rated!!!! GM hasn't produced anything worth buying since the pre-1972 emission laws.
