If you can afford it, see a Cirque du Soleil show. They are all spectacular. The newest one is LOVE at the Mirage, set to Beatle's music. In my opinion Mystere at Treasure Island is the best Cirque buy for the money... lots of aerial acrobatics.
Don't miss a visit to the Bellagio... aside from the spectacular water fountain show happening in front of the hotel, they also have a gorgeous atrium garden... and their lobby is actually considered an 'attraction'. It's pretty amazing what billions of dollars in casino revenue can buy. They also have a small art gallery, currently featuring Ansel Adams.
For other sight seeing, check out downtown Fremont Street (amazing 'canopy' light show happens over your head, and the downtown casinos have the lowest table limits, etc.) If you like wildlife, check out the Shark Reef at Mandalay Bay... an amazing aquarium... again, it's pretty impressive what you can build with all those gambling dollars. Other animal exhibits include the Secret Garden at the Mirage (big kitty-cats), and the pool area at the Flamingo (penguins, flamingos, etc.)
If you like nightclubs, check out Jet at the Mirage... a 1.5 million dollar lighting system run by the best lighting guy in town. If you want a 'top-floor' club with a strip view, try Foundation Room at the Mandalay Bay or Ghost Bar at the Palms.
Great food can be found all over, specifically check out Stack at the Mirage for spectacular steak, the Paris Buffet for all-you-can-eat crab legs, and there's a wonderful off-strip Italian place on Flamingo called Nora's. Not only is their food incredible, but their Maitre D' is an opera singer, and chances are he'll be serenading someone on any given evening.
If you like hiking, take a day trip to Red Rock Canyon.. only a half hour from the strip with some of the most incredible scenery you can imagine. Valley of Fire is a bit further, but also well worth seeing if you have the time.
Other fun places include the Hard Rock Hotel Casino (tons of rock memorabilia and the spectacular Pink Taco Mexican restaurant).
The Venetian's shopping mall... only in Vegas can you ride a gondola through a canal in the middle of a shopping mall. And check out Wynn too, very pricey and a little stuffy.. but Mr. Wynn has impeccable taste.
The best roller coaster in town is Speed at the Nascar Cafe, at the Sahara.
If you want low table limits on the strip, exit the mega-casinos and check out Barbary Coast and Casino Royale. Not as fancy, but nice and cheap.
Words of advice... if you indulge in a show, get your tickets directly from the hotel box office. There are tons of 'ticket brokers' who charge an arm and a leg above face value, so beware. Above all, bring comfortable shoes! You will be amazed how much walking you will do while you're here.

Yeah... most of the hotels own their own name for their url... if you need the websites for any other properties, email me. I live in Vegas and I used to work in the Las Vegas travel industry.
Play safe and have fun... and remember the only way to guarantee you'll win at gambling is to actually OWN the casino, so please don't be one of those people standing on the corner begging for money to get back home =)

SueFlower is right on. Mystere is worth the money if you want to see a show. I also recommend the Secret Garden at the Mirage, but I thought Shark Reef was kinda boring - just my opinion.
The Fountains at the Bellagio are a must see at night (8pm - midnight), very romantic if it is that kind of trip.
Fremont Street is by far the best FREE entertainment in Vegas. Especially if you like to watch people. You see just about everything down there. Plus, the food and drinks are much cheaper downtown than on the strip. Make sure you stay ON Fremont Street though...don't wander down the side streets.
Jillian's at Neonopolis (Las Vegas Blvd and Fremont Street) is a lot of fun too. Great pool tables, decent food, retro bowling lanes, cool decor...The Saloon is also a pretty decent bar. A lot of industry locals hang out there. Very casual, youngish crowd, cool bartenders.
A trip to the top of the Stratosphere is pretty impressive. Great night time view of the city, but can be pretty chilly up there in the fall and winter...wear a jacket.
Desert Passage at the Aladdin and the Fashion Show Mall have great shopping. Check out the Forum Shops at Caesar's Palace too.
Gambling is a waste of time...so don't bother. You are better off throwing your money off the top of the Stratosphere!
Whatever you do, and where ever you go, be careful here. Don't look like a tourist, and remember "safety in numbers"...don't go anywhere alone, and don't get too wasted, especially if you are a girl.
Most importantly, have fun!

For the site seeing, the top of the stratosphere is great, freemont street is a must as it is the original Vegas. The rollercoaster at NYNY is fun. The shops at the Venetian and the Gondola rides are really beautiful. Overall, the Bellagio is on of the most beautiful places. So much to see and do. For nightlife, all of Vegas is one big party, so you really can't go too wrong. I like the club Light at the Bellagio. Check out that companies website (www.lightgroup.com) because they have several great places. The Ghost Bar at the Plams is pretty great too, with another fantastic view of the city. Ceasar's Palace is enormous, and can occupy you for all the time you are there. The Wynn has some really pretty landscaping. As for Gambling, I like The Mirage. Good Poker room, good tables (go see Skip at the WPT table game by the poker room. he is really entertainin) good food. Always get a gaming card where ever you play. Play for long enough and you can probably request a free meal.

Las Vegas is the absolute most fascinating and engaging town in the world and with hotelbye you will find out more. Nowhere otherwise on the planet you will discover a city that has all of the journey amenities that just a complete resort location will offer: luxurious casino hotels, fine dining, great live entertainment and state-of-the art tradition and business display facilities. Las Vegas happens to be a magnificent town and exactly what you'd expect from a world-class area, and more, is right here for your journey pleasure. One of many places you should visit in Las Vegas may be the Fremont Street, a pedestrian region with a myriad of unique sites.

Well, all of the hotels you have chosen are reasonably close to eachother and are at the south end of the strip, perhaps that is why you chose them. MGM Grand is one of my favorite hotels, I absolutely love that hotel. The rooms were amazing and comfortable, and most importantly (to me) the rooms didn't smell like smoke. The pool is amazing, the restaurants are great. I have never really seen any celebrities there except for Kurt Thomas and I assuming he was in Vegas because he was traded the day before :) It is the the last stop on the monorail on the south end and quickly connects you to the rest of the strip. New York New York has an amazing casino. I love everything about the ground floor. I have heard the rooms tend to be smaller at this hotel. Mandalay Bay is amazing. One of the Southern most strip hotels with mini monorail connecting to Luxor and Excalibur. The hotel in its entirety is amazing. Good pool. Luxor gives me vertigo, I will probably never stay there. But the clubs are good. LAX is popular for celebrity sitings. You may even see Carrot Top on any given day! : ) My pick: MGM grand!

We go about once a year, and have a great time! The roller coaster at New York, New York, shopping and lunch (PF Changs!) at the Alladin, the Eiffel Tower at Paris, all the touristy stuff!
We do a dress up night and go out for a nice dinner, then go to the art museum at the Bellagio, also.
Sometimes we just a grab a beer, sit and watch all the interesting people go by!
