There are three incarnatiosn of "101 Dalmations", a book and two movies, and in each set only Perdita and Pongo's litter of 15 have names. In the cartoon movie we only learn five of their names, and those five are Patches, Penny, Freckles, Rollie, and Lucky.
During the rescue of the 99 puppies from the De Ville manor by Sergant Tibbs, he calls one of the puppies 'Spot' and the puppy answers, however this is more than like an older man calling a boy "Sonny" than the pups actual name.
In the live action movie, however, all 15 names are said allowed when, for Christmas, Roder and Annita give all the puppies collars and licences. If memory serves me correctly, of the five from the cartoon only Lucky, Patches and Freckles "survive" as names while some of the new ones are Two-Tone, Whizzer and Dip-Stick.
Not having read the book, I am uncertain as to the names given there, but according Wikiperida one of the puppies is named Cadpig....why you would name a puppy Cadpig I have no idea, and Pongo and Perdita are NOT the parents of the 15. Rather Pongo is mated to a Missie and Perdita is mated to a Prince.
Personally I prefer the cartoon, but I'm strange that way.

ok, in the movies theres like only a dozzen with names.
what about all the other ones. no one realy knows. and whos gna wanna take the time to name 101 puppies, and then remember witch one is witch...saounds like too much work to me.
