of course i would help.i would have helped anyone that fell down from a wheelchair.whether their celebrities or normal people.they're on a wheelchair for pete's sake!!

I feel sorry for the guy, but I think it would be difficult to live with him. I would watch and laugh.
I take it he wouldn't have people skills, since he is divorcing his current wife. His current wife was the former wife of the guy that invented his speech synthesizer, he left his first wife for her, and now he's leaving his second wife as well.
If I were him, I would use all the help I can get from people. He seems to be ungrateful, maybe bitter because of his disease.

Yes, I would help him up. ALS (Lou Gehrigs Disease) is not something to be laughed at, it's a horrible condition and I think he's brave to face the world the way he does and even if I don't think he is the cleverest scientist he has overcome a lot of adversity to get where he is. He should be applauded not ridiculed!

Help, then see if he's ok, if he "says" he's fine I'd laugh later about it.
I saw a group of people helping a guy with no legs back into his wheelchair, it was outside of a bar, the guy was very drunk and when they lifted him up to put him back his pants fell off. I didn't laugh about it till later.
