Tried Advanced Auto and PepBoys. No luck. The only places I can find are online and I need my car before next week. I have researched up on the best alternatives (probably Optima & Odyssey) and they are just too expensive.
Also would like to buy this locally for the piece of mind of being able to replace it immediately.

Wal-Mart, NTB, AutoZone, Napa or anything else in the Southeast. Kragen does have it, but they are West Coast only. Do Napa's rebadged batteries use the grid technology?
Ironically, Exide’s HQ is only ~5-10 miles away.

all napa batteries are made by the Exide corp. I worked for napa
for 16 years and rember when we switched over

anyone that carries exide should be able to..
monro muffler / brake or speedy should be able to get you one.
checker / schucks / kragen carries exide batteries.
i dont know about orbital batteries, but exide are the worst batteries out there you know.

checker shucks or kregen (depending on where you live) has them. like 139.99 i used to work for checkers and we had the exide orbitals. good batteries. most gel batteries are going to run about that much, i dont know how much the optimas are. if it were me i would use the optima red top.
