It took me about a year to finish school. I started my job at 8 dollars an hour.I've been here a year now I'm making 14 an hour.

I have seen the term used for a 6- 8 week training course and for an associate degree program listed below. The shorter training period would earn one 7.00 per hour. This is comparable to the earnings of a Certified Nurses Aide.
I have no knowledge of a medical assistant with an associate 's degree.

depending on where you live and which program you enroll into ~ A medical assistant program takes up to 9 months to complete.
The starting pay for this position is about $9.00/hour.
