They're an anti-anti-spam thing.

As email gets more sophisticated, so junk-mail specialists have started to fill their emails with gobbldegook in an effort to fool these security programs - usually putting their dubious wares on show as a background or suchlike.

Watch a movie called 'Boiler Room' (Vin Diesel in 'can act' shocker!) and it's essentially the same thing but with telephones.

Never buy stocks from these people.

Do you mean the tips that are emailed around these days? If so, they are spam, and the extra phrases are there to confuse the spam filters. They are also a major scam, whatever you do, don't buy anything on the basis of them!

Jonathan above is right about why these are used in SPAM.

However similar phrases are used in TV broadcasts to try to liven up the dullness of financial reporting.

Money is actually guilt and investing in stocks is like ofloading guilt. Then you will have to walk around as if you are still guilty to make sure that your stocks move. That is why those terms are used like no jewellery no makeup, discontented per se.
