As a beauty therapist/nail tech i'd advise you to buy a steamer. You can buy these cheaply from argos, boots etc.
Once a week use the steamer. But cleanse your face first, as if you open the pores with the steam and your face is dirty with daily oil and grime, it'll get in the pores and make the problem worse.
When using the steamer remember to inhale through your mouth and exhale through your nose. If not you will get a steam burn inside the nose and it hurts like hell.
The skin is ready to work with when it is damp to the touch.
When extracting blackheads never squeeze with bare nails as you're likely to do more damage than good. Use the end of a cotton bud in each hand or for loo roll over the end oe the fore finger on each hand. After about 5 mins you'll probably need to steam again.
No point paying salon prices for this, however to get a head start I would advise booking yourself in to a salon for a mini facial.
But keep on top of it by doing a proper cleanse, tone and moisturise at least twice a week and the steamer once a week.
Good luck with the new routine. xx

Don't squeeze them. Just use a good face wash before bed and in the morning. Eating healthily ad getting plenty of sunlight, as vitamin d from the sun helps keep skin healthy. Well aslong as you dot get sunburnt. If your skin is very oily n gets worse over puberty, the doctor may recommend a stronger facial cleaner, but to start with something like clearasil will do fine

I had those for like, five years. They only went away after I started using less heavy products on my face. I use mineral foundation, all-natural moisturizer, and Aveeno calming face wash. I swear, it's the only thing that will work. The reason why you get blackheads is because of all the buildup of oil and grease from crappy makeup. It doesn't have to be expensive either.

BIORE strips. I think they are great. A skin doctor told me that scrubbing your face with baking soda is a good way to soften blackheads for removal so maybe try that right before you put the nose strip on.

I exfoliate once a week(saturdays),
on sundays, i tend to steam my face- warm water in a bowl, with some euchyptous, works a treat.
Then I have a facial once a month-- prefreble after my menstuation, to help maintain a smooth complexion. costs about £20-30. A small price to pay for your skin right?
My mum says" its painful to be beautiful" and " you need to speculate to accumilaite"
treat yourself--your woth it.

if you have got blackheads you need to squeezze them GENTLY and don't do it before you go out cos your face will be all red! Then make sure you wash with hot water every day. Use plenty of soap but make sure you rinse it all off good luck
