Love is true.
That being said, let me explain...wait, let me summarize.
The problem is, people confuse infatuation and/or lust for love. That giddy, fast heartbeat, almost obsession with a person, that is infatuation. When you just *want* someone, that is lust. Infatuation is a combo of liking someone, lust, and a few other chemical responses. Most people think this is "love", but the problem with infatuation is, after out three months, it goes away.
When it goes away, if there really isn't anything else there in the way of feelings for a person, then there is nothing left, and people think they ar "fell out of love".
True love, sometimes starts with that giddy rush of infatuation, but afterwords, but it's the feeling that stays afterwords. It's a deeper, less giddy feeling. Part friendship, part liking to be with someone, part lust (there should always be lust, rowr), but also a deeper feeling of being happy to be around a person. With my Love, I feel, complete, total, I understood the poets, when they say some souls are divided, and we spend our lives looking for our other half.
just my spin. Love is out there. It may not be that you don't feel it, it might just not be what you are expecting it to be, not a mad giddy infatuation, but something a bit more subtle, but lasting.
Love shall be the whole of the law.

In truth, unconditional love is the only thing that truely exists. But we dwell in the thick and slow world of physical matter, space and time (which are all products of one another by the way!). Living in such a realm, we are given over to duality. There is no light without darkness, for without it's opposite, light becomes meaningless. Love is not a myth. Love is real. In fact, it's all there really is.

I do believe in true love, its something that comes from the core of your soul. You find yourself sick and crazy in love with someone, and you completely adorethem. Its about understanding, being friends and just really opening you heart to be loved., and to really love. My parents are married 50 yrs this year, that is true love. When someone will always stand next to you and protect you and only want the best for you. Its out there... just believe....... and love, like you never been hurt before!!!
good luck!!

There are all different forms of love. I guess whatever ones perception of it, is what they are going to believe is real.
