Question

a woman came back from the market with a basket full of eggs.
then an elephant collided against her
the elephantdriver was happy to pay for the damaged eggs
the woman didnt know exactly what was the nu,mber of eggs in her basket
But she did rememeber the following
when she took out the eggs by two at a time there were none left.
when she took out the eggs by 11 at a time there were 3 left.
when she took out the eggs by 37 at a time there were 13 left.

can you tell the poor woman how many eggs she had ?

The person above is right that there are multiple answers to this question. Smallest number that satisfies the given criteria is 124.

The solution procedure that I used was a computer program that iterates the number and checks the given conditions if they are satisfied or not. A small C program will do.
The modulus operator '%' should be used for this purpose.
ie a%b will give the remainder on dividing 'a' with 'b'.
