I think everyone gets this feeling to some point. It's just human nature. We're all competitive to some point and it's in our blood to judge people based on looks before we even know them. I did that with someone I worked with. Didn't want to associate myself with this person because of their looks (because I was jealous) but once I started getting to know them - I realized that they were a VERY nice person and we are now friends.

No, because no one is prettier than me!
JUST KIDDING!
I guess I'm about average.
When I was in high school, I had a pretty bad case of acne.
One of my really good friends was a really good looking guy.
And to top that, he was really smart and athletic, too.
In fact, his two sisters were also absolutely drop-dead georgeous.
Anytime we went anywhere together, movies, swimming, putt-putt golfing, he always got all the grils' attention and I was kind of ignored.
I was pretty popular with people that knew me, but I wasn't really very easy on the eyes.
I don't know if I really felt "jealousy" in that I was angry with them or wished that they had acne, too; But I did sometimes wish that I had not had acne and oily skin and hair. I would find myself wondering why I couldn't be more like him.
I know that it's human nature and it will never change, but there is just too much emphasis given to a person's outer beauty.
Remember, the devil was supposed to have been God's most beautiful angel before he was booted out of heaven.

Well personally I don't think how good looking you are makes you any better or worse a person so I have NEVER looked down on someone based on how they look...I guess most people have been jealous of someone they consider more attractive then themselves...I have kind of learnt that if they think they are better than you than they are clearly not a nice person and therefore not worth my time or conversation so I try to stay away from them!!!!! That said MOST if not all of the prettiest people I know are really nice and genuine...Its their natural inner beuty shining through!!!!!!

I think everyone at one point in their lives have experienced jealously. I wish I got the attention the big boobed blond with lypo & coligian lips was getting at the end of the bar! But with that comes very little personality. So, I may think I want to look like her, but I don't want to be her. I've had guys ignore the big boob blond & talk to me instead. That was a GREAT feeling I must say!Yea for the men who see thru the plastic surgery! Also, to the other part of the question, I don't look down on people, I just point & laugh!! Just kidding. I would LOVE to tell the "fat" girl not to wear that because spandex is not flattering on big girls. But I don't like to hurt feelings. Not insecure enough to be jealous really.

Yes I do get jealous, but only around my husband. I don't want him to compare me to younger, slimmer girls who haven't had kids yet. It's silly I know because he loves me, but I wish I could still look the way I did before having kids.

No if they looked better than me wondered if it was worth it to me to devote that much time and energy to my body and I allways think no I like my looks but don't want to waste time being puffed up and admiering myself in a gym mirror.

Yes, I was afraid someone I liked would like them better because of it otherwise it wouldn't have mattered
