Give them just 1 kind of food for a couple of days. I always heard to start with veggies. If you give them friut first it is sweet so they will not want the veggies.

I've always heard to give them the same food for 3 days. If there is not allergic reaction such as diahrea (sp?) or swelling then that food is fine and you can move to the next kind. If you do it any closer than 3 days apart you won't know which food caused the allergic reaction. Also if you do find something the baby is allergic to try again in a couple of months to give them that same food because the allergy could be gone by then. Hope this helps.

I just went to the docter today for my six month old and she says wait 4-5 days before adding a new food to check for allergies. But remember if they have had a food in the past and not reacted they can still have that as well as the new food.
