The skimmer may be causing the micro bubbles. Another cause of micro bubbles is a pump that may be clogged and has begun to cavitate or your filter system is beginning to cavitate. You can find out what is causing the bubbles by unplugging one thing at a time when you unplug the right piece of equipment and the bubbles stop you have found the culprit. If it is the skimmer causing the bubbles then adjust it to a different setting. Some skimmers will put out the bubbles when first turned on or adjusted, you may want to wait a day or two to see if the skimmer clears up on its own (if that is the problem).
