For example, have you asked a question innocently enough, meaning only to get other opinions or perspectives than your own, not intending any judgement or criticism, then suddenly found yourself in the midst of a confrontation, having caused a furor with your misunderstood question?

Or have you had some other kind of experience where your question assumed an incarnation you never meant it to have?

If you are willing could you give an example of such an occurrence and perhaps direct us to that question if it still exists on Yahoo! Answers.

I am really curious about this phenomenon and how frequently it occurs.

Oh, and I'm not saying here that any of you fail to present your questions in a manner that the rest of us can understand. Trust me, THIS really is a non confrontational question.

Once asked a question regarding the opinion of whether or not a teen should get an abortion and if the boy who did it should be forced to leave the home and assume the responsibility? It was never a decision made by me but omg did people get all riled up without having all the facts; it was really ridiculous. Just showed that there are very few people on answers who don't rush to judgement but have issues themselves and are looking to place their anger somewhere. It is really funny in a twisted way. Happily, I never take to heart any opinions unless they are in the real world and actually part of my life.
