WOW, all the songs you guys put are so Great. Just reading them brought back memories of when I was in school of course in the 80's.

Much too difficult to choose just one song... but I gotta say, "Into the Night" by Benny Mardones is one of my faves :)

Wow this is hard! I know you asked for one, but I have three.

I'll see you in My Dreams by Giant. It's the end of a realtionship and the guy wants it back, though he'll never will, he promises to see her in his drreams, cause that's the only place he feels good now.

Take On Me by AHA. Because it's so much better to be safe than sorry.

Send Me An Angel by the Scorpians. I always thought this was the perfect make out song, even though I wasn't making out in the 80, I did however in the 90's with my first crush!

I have two songs that represent the 80's.
Don't You Forget About Me by Simple Minds and Boys Of Summer by Don Henley.

To me, they capture the essence of the 80's. I don't know why, but everytime I hear them, I remember glimpses of where I was and what I was doing. Great times.

"You Spin Me 'Round (Like A Record)" by Dead or Alive. I don't think there is a song that better captures the spirit and the essence of the '80s. (Although "Jump" by Van Halen comes close.)
