Its called a muscle spasm, and u get them from not
having enough iron in your diet, and if u think u do
u must not, because u are having them.
PS I am into all natural healing, and when my kids were
young they use to have these until I researched this!
Seems to me they have to put fancy names to age old problems
I think Doctors should listen to the older folks more!

There is a thing called Restless Leg Syndrome. Talk to your doctor about it; I think there is a medication that may help.

Yes, it is restless leg syndrome. There is nothing personally that you can do to prevent it. There are several choices in medications that your doctor can try. It's not serious and we don't know why people get it.

Yes, restless leg syndrome. RLS. Ask your doctor about REQUIP. It's just for that.
They used to prescribe Levadopa, which is a Parkinson's medication and that had terrible side effects for RLS patients. Just didn't work out.

The latest fad is "restless leg syndrome." It may be that, or it may be that your body isn't completely relaxed before you drop off. Try some gentle stretching before you go to bed.

It's not really dangerous in itself. But it is annoying and does interfere with sleep. Someone on another forum I read suggested milk thistle suppliments, and it does seem to work. You should be able to find them in your local health food/nutrition store. I'm not really certain what causes it either.
