To me it makes no diffierence since i prefer the women but i think you need a bit of both. If you're too tough, you will lose the girl and if you're too gentle, you will also lose her. You need to balance it.

i'd rather want a guy whos's both! He should have a stong personnality and rather be very tough around people. But He should be gentle (gentle with the way he talks and touches.)

Real tough guys are gentle unless provoked... usually in the defense of thier women. So I suppose the answer is "yes".
