A blood clot is the leg a pain in the butt to diagnose (especially over the internet). Common symptoms apart from pain include swelling, warmth, and redness. Unfortunately you can get very similar symptoms from a muscle pull or tendon injury.

If you've got a reason to think you have a blood clot, call up your doctor and ask them if you need to come in for a consultation. With a better idea of your medical history they can help you decide what to do.

After leg cramps, you may have chemical components/acids on your muscle mass which will collect for a jointly as (very reminiscent of once you paintings out and are sore, lactic acid is the reason for this). Blood clots can take place, yet to my understanding, there desires to be a source for them to originate (such as you bleeding in some unspecified time interior the destiny). Thrombophlebitis indicators are a "delicate, warm spot" on your leg, so i think that's a danger that's what that's. In case that's, do no longer rub it, as this might dislodge it inflicting it to visit the lungs. in case you have any shortness of breath (different than the prevalent being pregnant "crowded lungs" :) ) or coughing, head to the ER precise away. it is is sweet the checklist scheduled you for day after today. let us know the way it is going.

it could be. usually clots are REALLY painful. is this pain constant? or just something that just happened and then went away? you should tell your dr about to just make sure. if the clot breaks up, it can move into your brain leading to a stroke, or into your heart or lungs as well, and both are extreamly dangerous even deadly.
