This question is referring to the film its self, not about the actors and who made the film etc. Thank you

Wouldn't it be easier for you to check out Wiki - you're only going to get people telling you where to go with that question !!!!
Here's a start:
Halloween is a 1978 independent horror film set in the fictional Midwest town of Haddonfield, Illinois, on Halloween. The original draft of the screenplay was titled The Babysitter Murders.
The Sixth Sense is a 1999 film that tells the story of a troubled, isolated boy (played by Haley Joel Osment) living in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and a child psychologist (played by Bruce Willis) who tries to help him.

Both films revitalised the horror genre, they both have great twists at the end and very dark photography throughout. They both have psychiatrists as major characters, Bruce Willis in The Sixth Sense and Donald Pleasence as Doctor Loomis in Halloween. Both doctors have problems with homicidal patients.
The differences are that The Sixth Sense has a huge Hollywood star in Bruce Willis, whereas, with Halloween, Jamie Lee Curtis was an unknown and Donald Pleasence's career was in a bit of slump, although both had career surges after it came out. Halloween was made by a tiny independent company called Compass Films while The Sixth Sense was made by the adult branch of Disney, a major studio.
