From childhood.. we shared everything and still do, even tho we live at opposite ends of the continent.. We do trips together,we visit each other once a year, usually around Hallowe'en cause we love to dress up and make fools of ourselves.... We talk on the phone every couple weeks and e-mail almost daily... We cry through the tragedies and broken relationships. We became blood sisters and had our own YA YA group before it was ever cool...
We were 7 years old... We love life and each other like sisters.
We would die for the other person...
That is hard to find later in life, cause we have spent so many of our years together growing,. exploring and being a part of one another...
The friendship is the soft place to fall when you have no one to turn to...

School. I still hang out with friends I originally met in high school. I'm 30. We weren't the best of Friends then, just acquaintances really, but now they are my best Friends. Of course I do live in a very small town.

amazingly enough the friends i had from school weren't good friends until they needed something or they got themselves into a situation i could help them with...... i met a couple at a bar one night and they ended up being my best friends... you can meet people any where and they can be great friends.... its when you have known someone years and you think they are your best friends that can get you in to trouble:) believe me.

I met my closest friend in a 12-Step group. I've met others through work, although they aren't that close.

well all friends were all connected through school.. and their enstended friends.. and then in the end.. You have no friends when they all have grown their seperate ways. So therefore i have no good friends except my husband. my only friend. my best friend. that only matters.
