didn't people ever hear of "if you can't say something nice, don't say something at all" People come on hear to receive sincere answers to their questions not to be chastized by judgemental people. Have heart and don't judge. Just my 2 cents anyway!

If someone posts an ignorant, inflammatory question that isn't really a question, but more of a slight or attack at any person or group in particular.......then they deserve whatever remarks that come.

As far as questions asked, you open yourself up and make yourself vulnerable if you ask a question and really seek an answer from a public that you do not know. You know nothing about the people on or responding to your post.

Why leave something of importance or seriousness to that? The person may be a pervert, pedophile, racist, criminal, deviant, rapist, murderer, athiest, cannibalistic moron who was inbred to the tenth power.

THAT is just MY two cents. For things of true importance or value, that I need impartial input on.........I'd rather see a mental health professional or some other counselor who will give me constructive advice or point me to the proper resources to get the answer I seek.

I sure as heck am not leaving anything to chance on the world wide web.

I feel exactly the same way. I seems you can't ask a question without one or two rude and obnoxious answers. People just don't care sometimes. A little while ago I asked a question about my husband and his messiness. One guy told me I should kill myself and called me a miserable B word. I used to let things like that get to me at at first it did a little. I then decided to visit some of his questions. You wouldn't believe what I found. He was asking how to get away with murdering his wife. I told him that he needed some serious help. Too many sickos in the world. Sickos and rude people. I must say though that I gt more sincere answers then I do rude ones so the nice people are still in the lead. Thank God for that. Take care.

The same reason they flag questions as violations if they don't agree with what kind of question it should be. I ask and answer a lot of serious questions, but every now & then, silly is good. I am never insulting or vulgar........Also, a lot of people don't have the intelligence to understand the question. I'm not being insulting, just stating a fact. I asked a question about Crist, the Gov candidate for FL & 2 people thought it was a question about Christ & thought I misspelled it!. Also a lot of folks don't have a sense of humor.

Most of the time I transfer directly to yet another query. But I am now going to begin posting a prayer for that individual and ask God to come back into their hearts. I could love to mission all Christians to do the identical. If we come in combination in prayer and agree, Jesus can be within the midst after which we will be able to begin to peer a few unbelievable matters occur on Yahoo Answers! Calling all Christians to the battlefield! Let's pray and rebuke the satan so he's going to flee!

Some people just like to feel that they are 'better' than others, they think they are so clever, moral, righteous etc that they feel the urge to put down anyone they perceive as ignorant, amoral etc.

This shows great stupidity by the way, to have an open mind towards all others is a sign of a great person.

Only a small person feels the need to criticize others. If you have noticed... Critics never have the answer or solution to any problem.

Because insecure and miserable people have no other way of satisfying themselves and must belittle others in order to make themselves feel worthy. This is a place where people can give, and recieve OPINIONS.

Yes, I stopped asking questions because of it. Too many people who don't know anything judging others.

Probably it's because they don't know enough helpful information about the subject, so they figure they might still score some points for silly answers.
