Is it a pleasant memory or an unpleasant memory?

Wow! Lots of really good answers already.
My earliest memory has to have been when I was just about a year old, and is one of the very few happy memories of my "childhood". I remember my father picking me up and holding me up higher than his head so I couls see inside a songbird,s nest. There were four chirping chicks in the nest and when they saw me their mouths all opened waiting to be fed. I remember it quite clearly, the wonder of the moment overcame the brief fear I had from being so far from the ground.

Somewhere around three years old. My father died when I was exactly 3 1/2 years old but I distinctly remember sitting at the kitchen table with him and Mother. Pleasant 'cause he tousled my hair and said how pleased he was to see me eating my vegetables.

I very specifically remember being in a playpen when i was maybe a year old...for some reason, I can recall sucking on it's top "rail". I also recall being spoon-fed eggs by my mom while i sat in the high-chair. I recall a TV on a timer in my bedroom that would make me cry when it turned off!
Why I remember this NEXT thing I couldn't tell you....but I recall there was a certain night on TV that I got to watch a bunch of shows i liked all in a row....they were on ABC, and roughly in order, those shows were Batman, The Flying Nun, Bewitched, and That Girl.
I remember a LOT of the TV from then..Hogan's Heroes, Beverly Hillbillies, Petticoat Junction, Green Acres. I used to sit on my dad's lap and watch things like Star Trek, Daniel Boone, Lost in Space...then my parents would watch "their shows", like Gunsmoke, The FBI, Medical Center, Mission Impossible.
Sorry for the long list...anyhow, I'm NOW 41 years old.

Roughly two years old. I have a number of great memories of my grandma who died when I was 2 1/2. The one bad memory I have is from a really bad dream that I still vividly remember, but I think I was three.

The earliest memory that I have is I think when I was about 3 or 4 years old: it was niether good or bad. I was just there doing what I was doing. What a good question because I was thinking about that the other day...

I was 3. It was going to the airport to pick up my brother who we had just adopted (birds really do bring babies!). I remember my aunt stepped onto the baggage carousel to get a better view and it started moving. I also remember sitting on the heating thing in front of the windows to hold him for the first time... and all he did was cry!

When I was 2 1/2, my aunt died and I remember her lying in her coffin. I don't remember it as pleasant or unpleasant but puzzling. Why was she there, when the last time I saw her, she was pulling me around in the wagon?

I was around 3yrs old, and I remember being in footy pajama's. My dad was shaving in the bathroom and he stepped out for a moment and told me not to go in there. I went in there anyway and I remember reaching up on the cold tile and closing my hand on a razor! I
