saw this movie a long time ago....only thing i remember is that at the end there was an old woman in a rocking chair in the attic...the mother of the family staying in the house was taking food to her and its seems like it acutallly was the mother but as i said it was a long time ago...i want to say it is one of the amityvilles....am i correct and if not does anyone know what it is?

I remember vaguely a movie that I saw in grade school years ago. I can't remember the name of the film, but it was a single mother and daughter who moved to a new town and could only afford the worst house in the town. It was haunted by an old woman. The daughter made friends with the ghost and they all lived happily ever after. I don't think I ever knew the name of it.

Hmm, I'd say it may be Flowers In The Attic, or it could be (but don't quote me on this) The Diary Of Anne Frank. I haven't seen either movie, suprisingly, but it sounds familar to something along those lines.
