If you've already got a dog and a cat, go for a snake! Most popular species are fairly easy to care for and very mellow... I'd sooner trust a seemly docile snake than a seemingly docile strange dog or hamster... Good beginner species are corn snakes or ball pythons. They make awesome pets! In my opinion fish are pretty boring.

i would choose cat but it is really your choice which one do you like better?
a cat is alot easier to take care and a dog u have to train them to use the potty and stuff a cat u just basically show them where the liter box is and they go there and a snake i have never really had one. but u have to think about it snakes bit i mean so do the other animals but not as bad and a snake you have to keep in a Cage and a dog or cat you Can just let it run around
good luck choosing

Ok, so I've got a dog, lots of fish, a terrapin, a horse, and lots of chicken. I've also kept cats, turkeys, cows, buffalos, peacocks, goats and a baby boa. I had the Boa in college and named it Marley. So lemme tell you that according to me the best pets are fish, if you know enough about them. Each species of fish is a different character, they have different needs, behaviours, etc.
I've kept fish for ages and have never really lost interest in them. Dogs on the other hand, are great company but they have a different set of requirements too.
As for snakes, the Boa I kept was difficult to maintain and Boas are really fussy eaters. They get weird infections and can become obnoxious if provoked.

Snakes are cool but they are alot of work sometime depending on the snake. You will neek heat lamps and heat rocks, the food if you can handle feeding baby mice to a snake that cool, but it you can't then I wouldn't.
Plus cleaning there cage at least once a week. It's not that much but it does suck after a while.

I personally could never ever have a snake just because I would feel horrible feeding it baby mice or rats. I actually kept domestic rats when I was little and they are the best pets ever. Anyway, if you don't mind feeding it, snakes are pretty cool.

We have a dog, a cat, a cocketiel, a betta fish and a hedgehog.
If chose the best one it would be the hedgehog! That's my recommendation to anyone thinking of a pet.
My niece has snakes (and a hedgehog also), but feeding it the mice and rats is just too much for me, yuck!

Depending upon your personality and your time. Dogs need a lot attention and they aren't good for students who work because they are rarely home. Cats need some attention, fish just need to be fed and cleaned and as for snakes, I heard they enjoy attention as well.

First, i'd desire to assert, it is very unlucky. each new child could strengthen up with a canine. Rats are unquestionably magnificent pets, and actually person-friendly to shield. attempt exhibiting your mom some guidance on them to changer her ideas. Fish, at first, suck. they do no longer look to be pets. they are for tutor. besides, a stable puppy would be a ferret. they are domesticated, and in spite of widely used perception, are actually not wild animals. they have a reputaion for biting, in spite of the incontrovertible fact that that's in basic terms nipping, the comparable as a canine playfully protecting onto your finger. And whilst they do unquestionably chew, that's often out of play, yet you could prepare them out of that. they'd run around your place if that's ferret proofed, and that they are playful, curious and clever. They stay to tell the tale an popular of 6 to eight years. the only disadvantage is they are costly, around $a hundred and fifty to $250. you apart from mght would desire to get them pictures and neutered or spayed, (yet it is many times carried out earlier you purchase them), and take them to the vet. stable success.
