I know how to make and print a simple booklet using a software.
But now I'm wondering, how can I staple it, because my stapler
is a typical office stapler and it wouldn't allow me to do that. Please give me an advice.

actually used to make sketch books in college. I used craft paper, because I did water colors, but you can probably use regular paper. It was bound like the old books, using string. You are going to use MS publisher or Quark Express or Adobe Pagemaker, Publisher is the cheapest, to layout your pages. You have to make the first page opposite the last page, the second opposite the second to last, etc. It would take some time, but if you can print on some heavy paper, it would give the booklet a crafty kind of feel. After you print it out, stack them together, you poke holes through the paper, and string them together. You can only do so many pages, then you have to make little sections, and string them together. I used to add a blank page over all of them. Then cut a chip board cover, cover the chip board, and that first blank page, and glue it together, then I had a hard cover booklet. It was pretty cool. But it takes time, so it's not for mass production. But you could make a special Christmas gift of a photo album or journal out of it.
