definitely ask about the benefits, do they have 401K, if so do they match anything and how much. What type of insurance plans to to they have, do they have life insurance, dental? Are you expected to work holidays? Will you be training with someone? how long? Is there a website you can visit to learn more about the company history? Those are a few things I ask, not necessarily in that order.
Typically you will know what position you will be interviewing for, if not ask. They should tell you their expectations, if they don't make sure you ask, that is very important.

Also ask about the company, what it does, when was it formed. showing interest in the company shows your interest in the job. And don't forget to ask for your job discription. It shows you what is expected of you each day, a good tool.
