I personally never liked my school life, I was bullied consitently for things that were not considered "mainstreem" I liked Rugby League instead of football (or soccer if you are an American reading this), I was never very good at Maths, so I was bullied for that, I liked (and still do now) a bit of Classical Music, I also liked Rock Music, and was bullied for that, I liked to draw (how someone can be bullied for drawing, I have no idea) I thought differently to others, and for that, I was branded a freak, (and I had to go through four years of this) so bacisally, I never liked my school life, and I'm glad it's all over!

The reason I'm asking this is because I was speaking about what school was like to a guy at work on Monday, so I told him what it was like for me, I can't say anythign good happened at school, (unless it was passionately kissing that sixth former)

I hated High School. I was made fun of for being gay! It was bad! Worst 4 yrs of my life!

At the time I thought it was pants but honestly wished what I know now i knew then as I would have made sure I had a ball.
I come to the school a year later than anyone else and from another part of the country so I was like an alien to them however I was welcomed with open arms good old brummie warmth.
Our year was close and we would always stick up for one another in times of trouble.
One year they expelled the most popular guy in our year unfairly as what had happenend was not his fault so we all staged a sit in and went and sat in the playground all day and the next not moving only to go to toilet. He was reinstated with just a warning.
We had no worries other than getting to school and doing our work and homework. We used to meet after school in local park and have a great time oh happy days (75)

Both elementary and high school sucked for me. In Elementary, I would get bullied by almost everyone in my class for being a "loner" and I would go home crying on a daily basis. In high school, my so-called "friends" treated me like dirt, I had chronic depression and I lost so much weight over very little time. It was the hardest time of my life. I took two years off of school to deal with personal issues, and I just recently went back to complete my high school courses through correspondence and even though people think I made a bad decision, I really needed that time off to sort out others things in my life.

I hated school life. I was bullied for being an academic type rather than sporty or outgoing, one of the lads. I was bullied for having acne, and generally being a bit geeky. i was bullied by kids in years below me, which really took the biscuit.
All it did was to stunt my emotional development and question my place and my worth as an individual. Brow beaten into a corner.
It wasn't until University where i recovered and found myself as an individual. Yeah school taught me a lot, but it took away from me so much more.

I was bullied constantly because I was the girl that hid in corners at lunch time and refused to eat. I covered the razor cuts on my arms with long sleeves and cut-off socks. I wore my hair to my waist so I could hide behind it in class while I doodles little pictures of guns and razors on the margin of my notebook. I was a little emo kid I guess. After high school, I realized that I was better then cutting myself. I was beautiful and I should have realized that. I am goth now and very happy.

My school life was awesome!
I loved being at school,all your mates around the whole time and there was so much stuff to get up to.
Think how hard it is these days to get 20 of your best mates in one place at a certain time and then you will appreciate how lucky we were at school.
I'm still best mates with my 5 closest mates from school so for me school was awesome and the friendships made up for the homework and other crap that went on.
On the bullying side of things,I had a few unsavoury characters try to bully me once but I beat the crap outta them and they never bothered me again!
School was the best time of my life!

I must say I loved school, after I left the all girls Catholic school and joined a mixed school that is!
Its a shame about your school days but you should forget about it and concentrate on having a good time now.

my school life was boring because i was quiet and shy but im totally opposite now so it doesnt really matter now. i wa sboring and used to hang around in the playground standing around watching other people play. people used to tell me to join in but i never would. i dunno what was wrong with me but i was just not up to it. if i could relive those yrs now, it would be very very different. i'd be more out going and have thye time of my life coz they are suppose to be ur best days of ur life really.

high school sucked for me....I was in the closet...so going to school was kinda uncomfortable...thank god I had my best friend (and some other close acquaintances) there to help me through the bad days...
...graduation however was GREAT!
