Kerry should have said everyone misheard him and that he said "get in a rut". That way he did not have to add anything else or say he omitted some comments or was misunderstood.
He can shoot back to the Republicans telling them that they created a storm out a teacup. :)

Kerry said what he meant . If we know anything , we know Kerry's history dating back to Viet Nam when he betrayed U.S. military in the same situation as our brave military is in today .
The Swift Boat Veterans who served with John Kerry never considered him one of them . They know his fake injuries were self-inflicted , through Kerry's ignorance , and many of them were outraged to learn that Kerry applied for war medals for it later . Kerry is a fake , a phony and a bombastic liar . Americans know what he said . We heard him say it , word -for-word . He thinks our military is dumb . He's the dumbest . KERRY ALSO SAID IN 1972 , he opposed an all volunteer army because it would be made of" underprivileged , black and brown" troops who would be more apt" to commit war crimes ". Other democrats backed him up on that as well .

How hard is it to see that he was really making a joke in reguards to our current president... Kerry is a vetran himself!! I wouldnt' believet that me meant any disrespect at all and feel that everyone is blowing this way out of proportion - more than it needs to be.
