That is so crazy...how can you keep fans watching the show if we wait all summer for only 6 new episodes...what we are supposed to wait until next October.. This is so disappointing.

They're putting the show on hold until January or February so they can run the rest of the shows without skipping a week.
So no waiting until next October, just the beginning of next year. :)

Considering how weak the first five episodes have been, perhaps the producers are "LOST" and need to regroup and write some decent episodes. I suspect that their heads have gotten swollen, thinking they can just jerk their viewers around with the late start to season 3, the ridiculous three month hiatus, and that nothing is ever explained.

I believe they are calling it the "Fall Finale". I guess they needed a name for it because they won't have any more new episode until after the holidays. And I hate that because I forget about what happened in the early season by the time they are back on again.

I really don't think it's a season finale, I heard they are going on hiatus. I heard they plan to return in January or February I think so they can run through the rest of the season without having to take any breaks or show any reruns.

It's not really the finale despite how the preview sounded. The show is coming back after the new year.
