An email address has no meaning when found in spam mail. Anyone can put any address they want in an email. That address would be useless to Yahoo without the complete email with headers.

If you go to the paypal site they have an email address to report these email directly to them. They call it "spoof".

I got one 2 days ago saying that they were checking on a new user added to my paypal account and they needed to verify my info. Since I don't have a paypal account it was easy to spot the scam, but it was pretty legit looking.
