For everyday wear, if you have no ethical problems with it, go for cashmere lined leather. Much more attractive than the ski glove types and very, very warm. You can get them from most major department stores.
However, if you need something for winter sports, then you need a proper ski glove. Try Snow + Rock for something of this type.
