I teach a basic computer class of 10 people. This a community based free class. Many of the students can not buy one for themselves. I was looking at $5 or so. 64 or 128 meg is good.

You can find them cheap on http://www.pricewatch.com and http://www.pricegrabber.com 5 bucks is pretty low, but they'll be pretty close.

Try ebay for a batch of cheap ones, other than that try the popluar online stores. Not sure what the US ones are but UK is dabs.com, ebuyer.com

cheapest flash drives I know of are 128 or 256 from walmart....14.95 ea.

If you know and HW/SW vendors contact them, tell them what you are doing and see if they are willing to donate some. They usually have them that they hand out at trade shows.
