How did the geography of Egypt lead to a view among Egyptians that was strongly dualistic? How is this reflected in the ideology of kingship?

The geography of Egypt was largely the fertile fields by the Nile versus the desert. There was also the ancient division between 'Lower Egypt', where the Nile delta is (more fertile, better land) and 'Upper Egypt' which is drier (in the south - the names come from the way the river slows.)
