Hello:
Montezuma wore green as his headdress colours because it was in praise of the land that he ruled. Also it was copied after the green in a peacocks feathers with show beauty, strenght and power.

Do we know for sure that he wore green as his headdress colors or is it just an artists idea of what he wore. Do we have an actual bona fide Montezuma headdress to look at?
