why do woman try do whats best for them but dont have the courage to be true to how they feel in their heart towards a guy?
but you know they dying inside with the choice they have made, as they know it feels right but circumstances require them to have belief and embrace the future but they stop themselves and run from what they feeling inside and telling their heart they dont need you .... u can tell from the'r reaction, tears, sad tone of voice, eyes etc.. than this really killing her inside but you have no choice but to accept this...

sounds like she's trying to do the right thing - you don't say, but if her decision has anything to do with her children, then most women (i think) would choose their children over a man. also, if her decision is based on her family's feelings, then she is being loyal to her family & giving up you for them - which is a noble thing to do.

Because they feel that they are unworthy for the guy. I'm speaking from experience. I fell in love with two very special guys (not at the same time, one in 2003 and the other in 2005) and I was never able to tell them how I felt because I felt that they deserved better than what I could give them.
Take my advice:
If you're a guy, talk to the girl about it and if it's you that she feels for, give her a chance.
If you're a girl, speak up or write a letter and send it to them. Either way, you have to let the person know you care about them and hey, you never know. They may feel the same.

Because love is blind, and sometimes, its better to listen to your head, I left my highschool sweetheart, even though it hurt me deeply and we are talking 33 yrs ago, we have kept in touch over the years....turns out not only did he cheat on me with an older woman while we were together, didn't find this out til a few yrs ago. He has done nothing but cheat on his wife of 20 years now, and he is even trying with me again. Told him I knew there was a reason I left you, you are heartless, and nothing but a womanizer, and even if I were single, I would NOT be with you. Thats my personal story, but people listen to their heads and not their hearts for different reasons.

I always follow my gut instincts they have never let me down and as far as feeling of the heart I do not take them seriously, all you get if you dwell on that part of you is misery. also one must use logic in order to get through the aching of the hart.
