always look for an uglier woman than their partner? I have a few friends who have been cheated on and the other woman always is less attractive, less smart and almost always less intelligent. What's the reason, do you know? Men are welcome to give their 2 cents.

I'm a guy. And I don't cheat. But I have friends who do. I think that the people who do cheat (no matter if it's a man or a woman..) crave extra attention and suspense. I observe from the people I know who do cheat on their girlfriends, that it's not just about that, every aspect of their life has to have suspense and sneaking around, breaking rules, etc. to keep themselves happy. Another possible reason why some people cheat is most likely because they feel their partner is inadequate in one or more areas (but most of the time.. this isn't even it. they are just chronic rule breakers) Look back on the cheater's history and dig up things from their past.. find out if they have a history of always bending the rules, and being mischevious.. it's their little way of feeling exhalted. I don't know for sure.. just guessing..but I am strongly against this practice..it is wrong and hurtful.

I have been in two serious relationships, and I loved both of these girls very much. I have never cheated, nor would I ever do so. If it ever came to me wanting to be with someone else, I would break up with my girlfriend. It never came to that, however. My point is that some guys have principles. These men you mention that have cheated probably did so for a few reasons:
-they get off on it, it's exciting (i know, it's stupid)
-they don't have the balls to end the relationship
-they are insecure
-probably the number one reason, THEY ARE SELFISH

I think the bottom line is that relationship isn't healthy, and he (or she, not limited to guys) doesn't know how to deal with it or doesn't want to. This is by no means a justification, however, healthy relationships don't have cheating partners. To sum it up, cheating is just a symptom of something greater, whether be the relationship or the individual.

People cheat for different reasons, most times something is lacking in the current relationship.

Why do women Cheat????? They want something they are not getting out of their marriage. Romance, seduction, passion, attention.

Guys want a lot of the same stuff, they want to be appreciated, loved, respected, wanted, desired, feel attractive etc. Most times we forget that men have insecurity issues just like women do.

We all want those things from marriage, if the spouse won't/can't then chances are someone will. Once that happens big problems, especially when the person who the spouse cheats with is the aggressor. They make it their mission/Goal and use every trick in the book go get what they want.

Simple fix though, communicate, communicate, communicate. Talk to your spouse, but listen more. Don't forget what you did to get married in the first place.

Cheating is wrong, and people that knowing pursue and affair with someone are worse. It shows your true personality and just what type of moral fibre you have.

Not my 2 cents, more like 1.25

The reason is probably because they're not getting what they can get from the "other woman" than from their girlfriend. That's the most common excuse.

Plus, the uglier and less intelligent ones usually dont mind being the other woman as long as they get some action out of it. They'll take it however they can get it and do anything to hang onto it.

First of all, let me tell you that all men do not cheat. I am 50, moderately handsome, wealthy, etc. and the thought of cheating has NEVER entered my mind. My sense of loyalty and integrity is unshakeable.

Now, men are very primal in that the animal need to spread their seed is a VERY strong emotion. Many Alpha males cannot control themselves, regardless of how hard they try. It is nature's way of ensuring the best our species remains on earth. This will never change.

If you want monogamy and a long term relationship, I suggest you chose somebody who is not an Alpha Male.

men have an ego problem that most women fail to recognize. they need to feel wanted. with an uglier woman they feel they will have less competition and less problem giving them up. not a good thing but just the way it is.

Some men feel that less attractive women are easier to dominate and manipulate. They want to please because they have been thought of as less most of thier lives. Men like this are nauseating and frankly, have a severe lack of self esteem.

The one they cheated with probably talked much less, didn't asked questions and didn't use sex to try to make them conform or change...

Men are simple. Yes the answer is insecurity.

Because most men dont really care as they get theirs. And lets face it, if you're wife is average pretty, and you upgrade, you're gonna wanna tell evey one you know that you're bangin a hottie on the side. However, if you downgrade from the average looks of your wife or g/f, you're not gonna admit to anyone but yourself that you're bangin a woofer.

REAL men don't cheat. and the BOYS that do just want some azz and any easy piece of meat out there willing to spread her legs is fair game.
