Becasue a lot of bc pills make you gain weight and condoms don't feel as good. Just have him pull out. It's safe. I never got knocked up.

Because they don't know better...maybe they didn't pay much attention in sex ed. I most deffinetly will be having "the talk" with my children starting at a younger age now....and not waiting till I think they are old enough. Looks like we now have to start "the talk" in what 5th or 6th grade, and make sure they have all the info before high school. Wow....doesn't anyone believe in waiting anymore? Where are the parents of all these young children???

I think that if a young child becomes a parent the young man should step up just like the young woman who is having the baby. Didn't they want to do something together? Why not raise the child?

Not all teens have unprotected sex! I got pregnant at 15 and used protection. So streotyping all sexually active teens would be unfair. We still live in sheltered homes where to talk about sex at a young age or discuss the risks with parents is not acceptable. So what do they do? The kids freak out! I was lucky to have understanding parents but I have raised my daughter in front of individuals such as your self who believe that we make one decision and that makes use irresponsible in every decision we make. Don't be quick to assume that ALL teens are acting irresponsibly!

This doesn't only apply to teens. Most adult refuse to wear condoms too. My question is, When will the ladies take responsibility for their own body's and get on the pill if they don't want to get pregnant. Letting a man be in charge of a woman's body isn't the brightest of ideas, now is it?

Because they are just Teens, translation, thinks they know but they know S**T. They think they are grown up and are ready to be active, but when the SH** hits the fan they run like kiddies. The only responsibility teens should have is going to school. They should not have to worry about being pregnant or thier GF being pregnant cause they couldnt keep thier underdeveloped we-we's locked up.

When I was younger I never had protected sex. But I was never looking to run away from responsiblity. The one time that the girl I was with thought she might be pregnant, I was all ready to take care of the child.

I think its mostly because we arn't taught about safe sex. There was nothing at my school about it. Nothing from my parents or friends. We just did what we did on our own, and later found out how stupid we were.

Because teenagers live by the"it wont happen to me " approach to life, unfortunately. Not all teenagers have unprotected sex, think about it...half of the girls in the world would be running around pregnant. lol Parents need to explain to their kids that just cuz their bodies may be ready...they are sooo not emotionally ready to have sex, regardless if they get pregnant or not..

First BC Pills do not make you gain weight they do however make your periods lighter and cramps easier.Pulling it is by no means safe sooner or later this will catch up to you and you will get pregnant. Condoms may not feel good but they protect against STDs and feel alot better than having a disease

I have been with thie guy for about a year n a half , hes 21 and yah i know thts crazy but just a few weeks ago i had his son, we been together since about Feb 10th 05 and we had sex but it was always safe he asked if we would but unprotected and i said yes like a dummy, but i was ready and i didnt care what anyone els said. Well we dont do it just to do it, some of us do it cuz we have reasons and care about people. You should think about what your gonna ask befor you ask it! cuz not all teens are tht damn dum

Because teens seem to think nothing negative can happen to them when it comes to unprotected sex, they feel they are invinsible to the out comes that can happen. Its not the cool thing to wear a condom in ther eyes because it feels better, feel better isint going to prevent STDS or pregnancies and when us experienced adults try to teach these things they think we have no clue of what we are talking about and that we are old fashion, they seem to forgot us adults were teens at one time and we do know what we are talking about
