it is difficult but not impossible. you still have a chance to get a good accomodation. but since festive season has almost started and you havent booked yet, I would suggest you to personally contact some one in goa who you know and who can book for you on your behalf. or if you can yourself go there and book in advance for an accomodation you may get it. don't waste time listening to these people who are suggesting you to go searching for information on the internet. there are lots of new and good hotels which have recently come up in goa and which are not even mentioned on the internet. people and tourists are not aware of these hotels because they have newly come up and are obviously not mentioned in the old telephone directory. so take advantage of this situation and book you accomodation soon.

There will always be somewhere to stay as there are so many guesthouses in Goa. If you are picky and want a particular resort or want something special then book in advance.

Easy ! There's loads of places available for the xmas period. Candolim is your best bet, try The Sunset Beach Resort, a family run hotel, if they cant get you in there, they may have room in their guest house, The Pretty Petals, where i have stayed, a lovely place indeed. Here's the link

Hope this helps.

it is hell!!! Apparantly some people end up sleeping in cars , etc! the hotels and guest houses get filled up - and the few remaining rooms if any charge a fortune! Try and book as early as possible , try bestgoadeals.com , e-mail Vivik , ask for his best price , say Carole recommended you!
