They stuck me on ritalin. I don't blame my parents, they just thought the school was right.
But now I'm having silly childish tendencies, like wanting to play outside, randomly singing, wanting to make friends with people. Not wanting to work. In high school I was little miss antisocial, but now I want to do normal girl things I wasn't able to do. What's wrong with me?

It's silly, it's as though I'm all repressed. I'm not really a negative person. I just want to play a bit because I was never able to.

Nothing is wrong with you. You have reached an age and stage in which you are now feeling comfortable with yourself well enough to feel that it is okay to sing and be silly. As well you should note that the Ritalin was a suppressant and now that your system is no longer dependent on it, resulting in your internal chemistry being altered and your inherent desires are becoming your focus because for so long they were denied. You are maturing and experiencing life from a Ritalin free perspective and so when you feel happy your energy and giddiness is that of a young girl. Do not be alarmed all the symptoms that you have described are not set in stone and as you evolve into being a Ritalin free adult your brain will adjust with time. I do suggest that the desire to work is only compounded by the honest desire to go and play and have fun rather then work. This too is a natural reaction however if you find that the desires are becoming too overwhelming then I suggest that you do go and see a physician as it could be caused by another factor. I hope that helps!

You should work but outside of that, its your life and as long as you do not harm or disturb anyone else, sing, play and make new friends all you want.

Enjoy the moment. Don't worry what others think. You can either let the memories ruin you or make you a better person. The choice is yours.

See a doctor. That doesn't sound too healthy for you. Children can be really cruel.
