The only way is to increase the stat that the stat roller uses. Remember that adventurers can only get up to level 5. Guardians can get higher. And for the health potion thing, just do the triple challenge. 2 free potions after each battle. And 10 health potions during frogzard hunter part 3. And don't forget to battle in the sea fiend war.

Nope, but there is a trick to get infinfite health potions.
Go to the pet shop and buy the "Salad Spitter spell".
then go back to battleon city and click on the guy to the left.
Then click on "rumors", then click on "fight the Seed Spitter"
Use the spell on the seed spitter monster and you can get free health potions.
