You can't. Newspapers are distributed within hours of printing. My newspaper which is delivered before 6 am is printed around 1-3 am. It does not exist at 10 pm.

Usually, they don't come off the presses before midnight or one a.m., unless there is a late evening edition. To get early editions, I have driven to the newspaper offices where they are for sale in the lobby.

Find out where the distribution department is ..that's where they gather and bundle the papers for delivery to homes and businesses ..if you make nice they may just let you in to purchase the paper as it comes off the press. (I use to work in the distribution department of a local newspaper, we would have a couple of customers who came in from 12am to 3am just to be the first to get the news or check on one of their ad placements) :-)

If you need to get your news early, I would suggest you go to your newspaper's website. Their stories will be fresher and posted on line before the paper actually goes to press.
