im having baby number 5 and im only 20weeks 4 days but each apointment i have with the gp/midwife and my consultant they reckon im going to go over due with this baby because my last 3 were over due!!!
has anyone else always been over due?
i am having such a rotten pregnancy and the thought of being over due doesnt really cheer me up.
i have home births so id rather not ask for an induction they offered me an induction a week early with my last due to my physical well being but i said no and thankfully she was only a few days late.
surely each pregnancy is different and this 1 may come on time!!!!
.

They cant really know you are right. Every pregnancy is different. You were also right to refuse the induction..I hate them. I had my first two children by induction and it was a nightmare...my daughter was natural (a week late by the way) but it was much more controllable labor. Everyone is an expert when you are pregnant (not) but in the long run it's up to the baby. Good luck and I hope you have a short birth and a healthy baby.

I wouldn't have an induced labor. The baby comes when it is ready. When their lungs are developed they release a hormone into your blood stream to start your contractions. It sounds like you have always done everything right. So hang in there girl. I am a mother of four and sometimes pregnancy can be difficult and tiring at the end but it may be the last baby you have so enjoy it!!!

I am 4 days over due today on my 3rd pregnancy. My first 2 were 3 and 4 days overdue. I am the only person i have ever known to be overdue with all pregnancies.

I could pass through your normal date and weeks. The tech more commonly received careworn or the little one is measuring small. That first ultrasound and due date are such a lot correct so I could persist with April thirtieth! Good success

my mom was overdue with all 4 of her kids, I was born almost 2 weeks late. Some women just hold them in longer. Get the induction, its not that big of a deal.

As of yet, Both of my children were 'over due'...I went an entire 42 weeks with both of them, And I am currently 38wks & 4days with baby #3, Hoping the same as you, That I don't have to endure an 'extra' 2 weeks of being pregnant.

Best of luck!!!!

My first child was exactly 40 weeks the other two were late, i think I just ovulate later in my cyle so I think it throws my due date off.
