Wasnt last night's episode great?! R.I.P. Eko. But there are many intriguiging things here. Why didnt the smoke monster seem scared of Eko this time? Last time he stared it down and it went away. What changed? I also think that Juliet has something up her sleeve for her and Jack to rescue Kate and Sawyer and then get the heck out of Dodge. And in the next episode, Kate finally chooses Jack or Sawyer. I'd have to say that Sawyer's ahead of Jack right now, but I hope that changes. I love Sawyer's character, but I sure hope Kate chooses Jack. What say you?

Great episode. I don't know about Juliet though. She may be playing Jack because he already thinks that Ben is evil, but maybe she's worse. She could be playing nice now so that Jack will get Ben out of the way during surgery, but then turn on him after he does her dirty work (but no matter how much Jack despises Ben, I don't think that he would deliberately kill him/let him die).

As for Kate, I think that Sawyer is a better match for her than Jack is, but you never know.

As for the black smoke monster, I thought that it was intriguing how Locke said he saw it too, but then added wasn't it "beautiful, white light(s)" or something like that. So....maybe if you're pure and have led a righteous life you see a "bright white light" and if you were a killer/thug (even if you're trying to be righteous now) you see the "smoke monster". Remember, Eko told his brother (or the apparition of his brother) that he wasn't sorry for what he did (killing those people and the man he killed to protect his brother when they were kids) so he did not repent...just something to think about.

Loved the episode. Somehow it gets better and better and I cannot wait for Wednesday nights. I DVR all episodes because I cant stand to wait through commercials and I can fast forward. I still dont get the smoke moster thing. I dont know about Kate and Jack, I think Jack will end up with the "Others" Chick, and Kate and Sawyer will be together, but you never know.

RIP Eko!

My question is: Did the black smoke monster turn into Eko's brother? It appeared that he did. And what the heck kind of monster is that thing to begin with?!

I hope Kate chooses Jack, too. Sawyer's great in his own Sawyer way, but Jack and Kate should be together.

R.I.P. Eko. See you on the other side.

Remember, Locke said he saw a bright light and Eko saw the black smoke *a thinly veiled Heaven/Hell reference perhaps?*

Juliet I trust as far as I can throw her, but then again at this point I trust nobody anymore ^_^.

As for the triangle, my $$ is on Kate and Sawyer. I have to be honest, I never even thought about Juliet looking like Jack's ex, but I think those two are gonna get together also.

I enjoyed the episode as well. I was surprised that Eko died. It was good to see the monster again and see Nikki and Paulo being integrated into the story line. I suspected there was some kind of rift between Ben and Juliet from the first episode this season and that was confirmed last night. As for who Kate choses, I'd prefer that it be Jack.

I loved last night's episode! I wish Eko didn't die! He was so cool! I do think Juliet has something planned. I'm pretty sure that Kate will pick Jack. I just hope they don't kill Sawyer!

First of all, they never should have killed Eko; now Locke is the only person who isn't one-dimensional. And I still don't trust Juliet or anyone of the Others. Are they really trying to rebel against Ben, or is this more manipulation? Remember what Ben said to Jack? I wanted you to WANT to operate on me. And I don't want Kate with Jack; personally, I think she'd kill him in his sleep. He may be cute, but he has taken self-righteous to a whole new level. And for that matter, would he be able to do what the Other Others want him to, or will his doctor-ness kick in?

It was a great episode, I just wish they would have said what Eko was doing in Australia. They never told why he was on the Oceanic flight in the first place.

However, I am looking forward to next week's episode. It looked great. They have to go out on a bang while they are on hiatus.

Good thing about Lost is that Eko can still come back in flashbacks and as a dead person living (!)
I hope so because he's a great character... and actor.
Want to see lots more of Locke though... anytime Locke is involved, it's a great storyline!
