I disagree about the single women.....they just want the man, they don't the responsibilities that go with that man. We always want the opposite of what we have. To married women, single women seem so care free. Sometimes being married and a mom can be overwhelming to some.

The Grass is always greener on the other side. Singletons like the idea of children and a close relationship but the reality is often a very different thing and prove to be too much of a responsibility as witnessed by many a married woman who decides they want out.

We all want what we can't have, and think the grass is greener on the other side, but ya know what? It never is greener. When people think about what it would be like if they just had someone else's life, they only think about the positive aspects of it, they don't realize the bad things that come along with it.

Single women want the security that the other women have. Married women want the fun they perceive the others have. It's all about 'The grass being greener...'

Sounds like you have an axe to grind here! We all suffer from thinking that the grass is greener on the other side when in fact it rarely is.

the grass is always greener, and i think people hardly ever talk about bad stuff how lonely it gets being single, and how being married can get boring and restrictive, etc and cant just do what you want

people always want what they dont want i think that is why there are so many unhappy people in the world

I am 32 and still single because I am not attracted to any of the men that I see on a daily basis. It's like one in a zillion men that I am attracted to.

The grass is always greener on the other side of the fence - HUMAN NATURE to want what you don't have.

Personally, I am not married and have exactly what I want.

By the way, you can have "closeness" without marriage.

I know a lot of people that are married and lonely.
