First off . . don't spray perfume directly on your clothing. You could get a stain from the oils that are in the perfume. Also, when dabbing on fragrance to your pulse points (behind the ears, wrists, neck etc) be sure not the "rub" the perfume in. This will crush and change the delicate ingredients of the perfume.

My favorite trick for applying a subtle scent (especially if I am going to the workplace or other enclosed environment) is to spray the perfume upwards and walk underneath where you sprayed. You will get a gentle sprinkling of fragrance that won't be overpowering for close quarters.

First of all, you want to make sure you're spraying the perfume on at least half an hour before you go out, so as not to bowl everyone over with the fragrance.

Perfume should be applied to the pulse points (inside of your wrists, sides of your neck, back behind your ears). This causes the fragrance to warm up, releasing more fragrance as you move around.

Don't spray it directly on your clothes, as it can be bad for the fabric. Perfume is alcohol-based, so it could do funny things to the colors of your clothes.

I have been told that you should spray perfume on the insides of your wrists as well as on the neck because of heat purposes (apparently, your body heat causes the smell of the perfume to linger). I have also found that if you spray your perfume in your hair (as long as you do not wear a lot of smelly hair products) it will retain the scent as well.

It depends one the strength of the purfume itself. Some may last up to an hour or even days (in which case the purfume is made entirely of the oil itself)...I would suggest spraying anywhere you would usually produce heat because when heat and oil absorbs it gives off the aroma...besides spraying in traditional areas such as the wrist and behind the ears..why not spray it behind your knee..arms..back...try not to spray onto clothes because it doesnt absorb and you are just wasting more good purfume. Hope that helps.

Depends on how strong the perfume is--if it's strong, spray it in the air out in frint of you and walk through the cloud.
If it's not overwhelming, spray it on your upper chest/neck area-you will be able to smell it & so will those that you're close to. No need to gag everyone on the room.
Whatever you do, don't put too much on!

FOR PERFUME TO SMELL ALL DAY AND BE SUBTLE ON YOUR SKIN, YOU SHOULD PUT IT ON ALL YOUR PULSE POINTS. IF YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT THAT IS, CHECK THE INSIDE OF YOUR WRISTS, THE SIDES OF YOUR NECK, THE BACK OF YOUR LEG ( WHERE IT BENDS), SO ON AND SO FORTH.

I prefer to spray a couple of puffs and then step into it. It leaves a nice subtle smell and doesn't kill all the people around you with allergies.
