Entrapment is when the police induce someone to commit a crime that s/he was not predisposed to commit.

Example: An undercover police officer asks you to hold some drugs for him. You say no several times. He offers a cut of money from the sale of the drugs. You say no. He doubles the offer, you say yes and take the drugs. You are then arrested for possession. This is entrapment because the police officer convinced you to do something you didn't want to do.

Entrapment is when the police induce criminal acts from people. Basically, its when an unwilling person is induced into committing a crime. One case was where a guy sold an undercover police officer cocaine. In court he proved that the undercover officer not only asked him to sell the cocaine, but threatened him if he didn't. so basically, without that officers actions, the guy never would have sold cocaine to anyone.

In simply terms it is a undercover cop playing like hes a drug addict or crimal,he goes around asking druggies to get him drugs,he gets real friendly with the person and then when the person gets him the drugs or does the crime they arrest them. Its a real sorry way to do but cops use it all the time.cops pose as prostitutes also, they dress up like a prostitute and get real friendly with the girls act like their friends and then try to catch them in something ,then BANG they arrest you.Personally I think entrapments stink!
