Do not buy , it is a scam. In fact VirusBurst IS the infection! VirusBurst a Smitfraud desktop hijacker infection. Most "general purpose" antivirus and antispyware programs cannot touch it, as you may have already found out.

Removal will likely require a semi-manual procedure.

There are 2 widely used procedures:

Using SmitfraudFix:

Using RogueFix:

Smitfraud is a nasty one that is going to require some work on your part. You probably won't find a software that you can download, push a "magic button" and have it just dissapear!

Roll up ya sleaves and get to work!

Good luck.

Virus Burst program is corrupt software. it says it is anti-spyware, but actually it is not. read more at: http://www.2-spyware.com/review-virusburst.html
this is how the system works: virus burst install a trojan or something in your computer along this messages. those messages tell you that your computer is infected and direct you to buy virus burst "anti-spyware". do not buy this malicious program, look for real anti spyware to remove virus burst.

It's spyware. You should use a good antivirus program like Avast or Kaspersky. Links to some free antivirus program can be found here:
