Clearly the Dixie Chicks took advantage of their fame and being on stage when taking a shot at the president. No matter who is in office they deserve our respect. We may not agree with everything that person does but they are in a very impossible position, to try and make the right decisions that effect everybody.

Clearly, the Dixie Chicks care more about their country than
they do about record sales.
That is, they knowingly voiced an opinion when they knew it
would hurt their own bottom line to do so (though I don't think
they knew how much).
Personally, I don't listen to their music (before or after). However,
that took guts.
And I too am ashamed of our President.
I'm sorry you voted for him, but that's not my problem.
What IS my problem is what he has done to the country,
its place in the world, the environment, etc, since then.
However, that's your problem too.
Can you honestly say that you made the right decision then?

they seem a set of comprehend-not something loud mouths, like quite a lot all celebrities are. And, if you're so gullible to believe the likes of Michael Moore's "videos", then you definitely and the Dixie Chicks deserve one yet another.

Who cares about this crap?
You need to be educating yourself about the corruption of your government.
Did you know that Bush's family has ties with the Nazi Party?
Did you know that Karl Rove's great grandfather was a governor of a state in Nazi Germany?
Did you know that there is an elitist organization called Bohemian Grove to which most of your most powerful and wealthy individuals and government officials are members. Did you know that they have ceremonies with mock human sacrifices and worship Moloch, a divinity that was worshipped by the idolatrous Isrealites where children were sacrificed?
Wake up and stop worrying about pop singers freedom of speech and seek knowledge.

I don't agree with you. A true patriot is someone who says whatever they feel without the fear of persecution.
You, on the other hand, are the most unpatriotic for judging these ladies for expressing their minds.
If you don't like them, change the station, put on a cd or turn off the radio altogether. It's your choice.

I agree. I can't stand people who use their fame to push their political opinions.

Freedom of Speech
They have the right to their opinions just like you do. I think people are taking it way to far personally.
