the ghosts from garfield's halloween. not even mumrah scared me that much - i couldn't sit through that movie until i was aabout 9. the real pisser was - every year they played it at my school for us at halloween time - so i'd have to just avert my eyes so i didn't look like the big scardy-cat in the class... and go figure - most of the kids in my class respected or were afraid of me from 1st grade when i knocked the tar out of someone who called my friend a mean name (i don't remember what it was, but it chapped me)

Not a cartoon character but the clown from the movie "IT" scared me to death. Of course, I was terrified of all clowns when I was a kid. Pretty freakish looking folks, if you ask me.
