I have had a pretty bad couple years in a lot of aspects of my life and now I am finding it hard to get motivated. I have no job, and no vehicle to even get to a job. Pretty much no money, my boyfriend is letting me live with him so I can get on my feet. I have been very lazy cause I just don't know what to do anymore. I wasn't always like this. My father passed away 2 years ago this month (im 21) could that have something to do with this? Any suggestions on how to get motivated?

I'm in a similar situation myself...I know it hurts. I can't know everything about your pain, but I can feel for you - like I said, I'm still partly there.

I can't give you a "magic bullet," but I am looking at one key idea: the truly successful people in life are those who have a passion and pursue it. They find ONE THING that they ***really*** care about, then they go for it with all they have. They aren't always rich, popular, or famous, but they have a Real Life - instead of just existing.

I'll admit I'm still looking - but I think this is a clue. Ask yourself what you REALLY want - deep down. Look at it carefully, make sure it makes sense...then pursue it one step at a time.

God's Blessings to you...

You can go to the mall and get a job in retail for now just to get some income so your not totally free loaded off your boyfriend. How is your eating habits? Change in diet can get you motivated. Start looking on job sites and see if anything interests you. Then you can put your resume up and just wait for hits. If you find a career path that you like it will make things a lot eaiser.

It's hard to say (not knowing your life and background), but try to focus on what is most important to you. Set your goals and don't let any meesly situation or thing get in your way.
